A Week Of Music: Events in Hyderabad

PREVIEW FOR A WEEK OF MUSIC

What began as a forum for young lovers of Carnatic music in the twin cities to
bring their favorite artists to the town as well as to encourage upcoming performers
here, has now acquired a small but dedicated following. Every year Nada Bharathi
invites celebrated musicians from Chennai and Hyderabad to perform at its anniversary
show.

This year the event will see performers like the Hyderabad Sisters (27th Nov,
7pm) and the internationally renowned vocalists Malladi Brothers (28th Nov, 7pm).
Apart from this there will be jugalbandis between the sitar and violin (27th Nov,
5:45pm) and the violin and the veena (28th Nov, 5:45pm). On the 28th, it will
be violinist Peri Sreerama Murthy and ace mridangam player Patri Satish Kumar.

Spiritual leader Sadguru Sivananda Murthy is expected to visit on the final day
of the event.
