95 Parklane displays an exhibition of designerwear saris which supports a cause. A cause that saves silk worms but makes sure it gets your wallet hook, line and sinker. But most people argue that it is worth the extra money. Most people also form 0.00000001% of the total Hyderabadi population.

95 Parklane is holding an exhibition-cum-sale of what is unarguably the best that you could lay your hands on. The collection is that of designer Usha Ragunathan and her label - Usha's - dressed up bigwigs like Dimple Kapadia, Rekha, Hema Malini, Kiron Kher, Shabana Azmi, Renuka Choudhary, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Amala Akkineni, Renuka Shahne and Dr. Shanta Sinha. How's that for a start?

The collection also brags about exquisite, readymade cholis which can be worn with 6 different saris. The cholis are intricately embroidered, made up with patchwork and mirrorwork in multi-hues and are priced at Rs. 1,000 and above. The Kanjeevaram silks here are not just limted to saris, but are made into salwar kurtas as well. Then, there are the Ahimsa silk saris, the raw material of which does not kill any silk worms when it is being produced. Though they may kill them later.
