The Centre For Development Of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), in association with the Media Lab Asia, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and DOEACC, is organising a 2-day National Seminar on ELELTECH. This program is also supported by the Department of Information Technology, and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
This seminar is on the topic of "e-Learning And e-Learning Technologies". Eleltech India 2005 has been conceptualized by C-DAC and the Department of Information Technology to provide a common platform to experts working in the e-learning area, to share their experiences and also to evolve future strategies. C-DAC proposes to conduct the seminar for various stakeholders of e-learning to provide a forum for sharing experiences, exchanging examples of good practice and taking stock of the added value of using ICT in education and training.
Electech India 2005 would interest the academic and the R&D community, and industry and policy makers from the state and the Central Government agencies. In brief, this seminar would be beneficial to all those who are working towards utilizing e-learning to its full potential.
The seminar will focus on various issues to be addressed in general (interactivity, bandwidth, interoperability, affordability, security), and specific to our nation (multilingual/multicultural diversity), in implementing online learning tracks. It will also suggest the best possible solutions and the focus areas where we need to concentrate our energies in developing technologies, mobile learning, blended learning scenario and aim to bring the benefits of e-learning (in terms of providing affordable, localized, user friendly, reachable, secured, just-in-time improved learning) to every nook and corner - heading towards "e-learning for all".
The last date for registration is on the 1st of August. The registration fee can be paid in the form of a DD/Cheque drawn on any Nationalized bank in favor of "C-DAC" and payable at "Hyderabad". Outstation cheques will not be accepted. The registration fee includes cost towards seminar kit, lunch and snacks.
