K-8 summit shifts base to Hyderabad - catch the lady brigadiers in Kabbadi action against each other.
The Asian Amateur Kabbadi Federation, in association with the Amateur Kabbadi Federation Of India, is organising the first Asian Kabbadi Champioship for women at Hyderabad. This international champioship features participants from 8 Asian countries. They are Korea, Thailand, Japan, Iran, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and India. This 3-day contest will be telecasted live on the DD Sports at 5:00 pm everyday.
The chief guest for the inauguration ceremony is the Governer of Andhra Pradesh, Sushil Kumar Shinde. The function will be presided over by the president of the Asian Amateur Federation, T S Gehlot. The guest list includes: Minister for Sports, Satyanarayana Rao; Minister for Mines and Geology, Savita Indira Reddy; MP, Raja Gopal; and MP of Secunderabad constituency, M Anjam Kumar Yadav.
