Hotel Fortune Katriya is presenting a 10-day Thai food festival, starting from today. Pratya, a chef from Hong-Kong, has been flown here for this occassion. He has more than 10 years experience in this field.
The food available at this festival has been made from very authentic ingredients. For the soups they have Tom Yum Kai and Kaeng Ciierd Phak. Tom Yum Kai is a typical Thai soup with made from ginger, lemon grass, mushrooms and chilli. Kaeng Ciierd Phak is a clear soup with vegetable dumplings.
For the main course they have items like Kaeng Kheow Waan Kai, Pla Laad Prik and Kaeng Phed Kae. Kaeng Kheow Waan Kai is a diced chicken cooked in a spicy green curry and flavoured with the sweet coconut milk. Pla Laad Prik is a dish of fried fillets of fish dipped in the Thai sauce. Kaeng Phed Kae is a dish of lamb, cooked in the spicy Thai red sauce and coconut milk. You can also get a pint of beer or a soft-drink along with this buffet.
