Discover the best of Pakistan and India at the Gymkhana Grounds; and it's not even cricket!

Gymkhana Grounds is organizing a Secunderabad Utsav Mela where you can find a variety of shops and stalls. You can find a Pakistani outlet called Saleem Associates, where you'll get specialities from Pakistan. These include, among others, carvings and furniture made from Onyx stone from Karachi, priced between Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 1,25,000. There is cutlery made from Onyx stone, priced between Rs. 15 and Rs. 4,000. Also available are different varieties of veg and non-veg masalas from the National Foods, priced at Rs. 25 each. Saris priced between Rs. 900 and Rs. 7,000, and ladies suits starting from Rs. 900 (the speciality being those made from the Lon cloth of Pakistan) are also available. There are flower vases, paper weights and decorative items made with Onyx stone, priced between Rs. 50 and Rs. 4,000.

At the other stalls you can find children's wear, Jaipur skirts and tops, hand bags, kitchen items, footwear, Sahranpur wooden sculpture and furniture, dry fruits, door curtains, sofa-sets, portraits of paintings and photos, ice creams, FMCG items, sunglasses and bindis. There are special discounts for FMCG items for example, if you buy 2 kg Surf Excel, you get 15 items free (6 Lux soaps, 3 Liril soaps, 2 Rin soaps, 1 Ceremony soap, 1 hair oil, 1 mosquito coil and 1 Close-up toothpaste).

There is also an outlet of special equipments/appliances where you can find a machine which removes dirt from any place, and another which can sharpen the edges of knives within seconds. These machines do not require any power to run.

At the Utsav you can also choose from among 99 varieties of dosas, and an assortment of icecreams, chaat, pav bhaji and popcorns. You can have a ride at the merry-go-round and the giant wheel, and can also watch dog shows and magic shows.
