Milind Nayak was born with a knife in his mouth. Well, not literally, that would be extremely painful, but that's his substitute for the paint brush. He has been painting for the last 30 years with a knife. What he does is lay the paint on the canvas and scrape it the way he likes. Sounds simple, right? Yea, sure, if all it took to be a painter was cutlery.
Milind Nayak has all that it takes to be a painter - 30 years of experience in the field and over 20 shows to his name, of which two have been held abroad, and most importantly artistic temperament. His paintings will now be exhibited at Lakshana Art Gallery. The theme of his collection is landscapes which portrays the brightness of everything around. In this collection 'the effect of autumn has translated to speak volumes'.
The paintings are priced from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 80,000. Please contact Lakshana Art Gallery on 2337-8033 or 2321-0294 ors 2329-8364 for further details.
