The Taj Banjara is organizing a 10-day Mexican Food Festival at its Waterside Café during lunch. There will be a buffet spread of the choicest dishes for the Indian palate. The buffet consists of 3 non-vegetarian dishes and 5 vegetarian dishes, along with the largest of buffets. Some famous dishes like Chilli Con Carne, Mole Poblano, Chicken Green Mole and Fish Marinera will be served throughout the festival. For vegetarians, they have Corn Puebla, Potato Caper Sauce etc., especially made by the master chefs of Mexico.
For those who want to know more, Mexican cooking uses olive oil and malt vinegar. The spices used are tarragon, oregano, coriander leaves and black pepper, besides chillies. The meat and the poultry are cooked in different sauces. Different menus will be available throughout the festival, and since Mexican food is spicy, Hyderabadis will enjoy it all the more.

He is one of the foremost authorities on his native cuisine. Chef Roberto Treves explores the Mexican cuisine with such rigor and depth that gourmets all around the world relish the delicious authentic Mexican cuisine he churns out and obtain a real sense of the ancient land of the Toltees, the Mayas and the Aztecs.
