Felicity 2008, the annual cultural and technical fest of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), is on from 8th to 10th February at the institute's campus in Gachibowli. One of the most awaited college festivals in town, Felicity attracts students from the best colleges throughout India, and especially of Hyderabad from reputed colleges like ISB, NIFT, HCU, NALSAR, OU and JNTU.
This year, Felicity has a plethora of events designed to test and encourage skills and talent. Apart from the events, there are also talks by experts in their fields, workshops by the best, and performances from the stalwarts.
The main events in the festival are divided into Threads Online, Threads Onsite, Literary Cafe, Cultural, Major Nights and Talks/Workshops. The detailed list of events is as under:

Major Nights
The most awaited part of Felicity. With music ranging from classical to rock, high caliber artistes at their best and the magic of young talent on stage. There is a fusion performance by the rockband Indian Ocean followed by the War of the DJ's, on 8th February. Mext to come is a rock show by Sledge on 9th February and grand finale on 10th February will crown the Mr & Mrs Felicity 2008
Talks/Workshops
The three days of Felicity will feature workshops and discussions by eminent personalities in their field that include Rashmi Bansal, a graduate from IIM Ahmedadbad and founder editor of JAM Magazine, an extremely popular youth magazine; and Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant, a danseuse par excellence, on the first day; Sitaram Yechury, politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and CPI (M) Parliamentary group leader, on the second day; and Karuna Gopal, Promoter and CEO of Confluence Consulting - a consulting firm with a portfolio of clients ranging from multinational firms, to the public sector and the Government, on the last day.
