Numaish, the (68th) All-India Industrial Exhibition, is one of the most eagerly awaited annual shopping fairs of Hyderabad, and is on from 1st January to the 15th of February, at the exhibition grounds. This year's exhibition will have 2,500 stalls with participants from all over the country. For the first time, the Pakistan Industrial & Trade Development Centre units are participating in this exhibition.
The display includes almost everything in consumer goods like handmade garments from Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, handicraft items from all over India, costumes, jewelry, a big range of electronic home appliances, dry fruits, traditional garments, trendy wear, leather goods, footwear, tableware, ceramics, handlooms and fitness equipment.
The prices will be reasonably lesser, provided you follow the theory of two prices: the bolne ka daam and the dene ka daam. Always expect the bolne ka daam to be twice the dene ka daam, and so keep bargaining till the seller finally gives up. The underlying hypothesis here is that the seller won't let the buyer go empty-handed or to the next shop. Among the few exceptions are the Kashmiris selling dry fruits and perfumes. They have fixed rates with almost no bargains or discounts. On the other hand, there will be huge discounts on the electronic appliances.
For entertainment, there are a mini-train, giant wheels, and other joy rides. Food courts serving chaat, pav bhajis, piping hot mirchi and alu bajjis and vadas, and Chinese fast food, have been set up for all the perennial nibblers. For the sweet-toothed, there are also sweet and ice-cream stalls.
Started in 1938 with just 100 stalls, as a local exhibition originally intended to display indigenously produced goods in the erstwhile Hyderabad state, the All-India Industrial Exhibition at Hyderabad has today come to be recognized as one of the biggest display windows in the country for trade, commerce and industry, with participants from all over the country, and from Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Bangladesh.
The entry charges are just Rs. 10 per head, and these support the activities of the Exhibition Society, like the management of 18 educational institutions that serve over 35,000 students of Hyderabad and the surrounding districts.

Don't forget to check out the latest leather gloves in this exhibition.They really are a lot cheaper than outside and beat out others in the shops outside, in terms of quality.
I see many women still use cotton gloves while driving. As a beautician, I'd advise them to use leather gloves( tight ones for elegance, not the loose ones) as they keep those tender hands warm and delicate. They're the right ones to protect the tender lady's hands from all kinds of weather.
In summer, ladies should wear leather gloves(even if it's hot) as they can notice the changed tenderness of the hands after an hour of wearing leather gloves.
Moreover , leather adds up to the entire look of a lady, it's stylish, unlike the cotton gloves(which look like a band aid on a patient).
