The Principal of Vasavi Music College is taking stage tonite, and you can expect an evening of complete melody. Or at least pin-drop silence.
Sangeeta Ksheerasagaram, in association with Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, as part of the Uppalapati Ankaiah Memorial Concerts, is organising a Carnatic vocal concert by M Seshamani, on 16th October at Kala Subbarao Kala Vedika, the mini-hall at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha. Seshamani will be accompanied by Peri Thyagaraju on the violin and P Ramachandra Sharma on the mridangam.
Seshamani took her first lessons in music from Evaturi Vijayashwara Rao, in Vizianagaram. She has a Masters in Music (Vidwan) from Madras University and also a diploma in teaching music. She has worked as a music teacher in Maharaja Govt. College of Music, Vizianagaram, and is currently working as the Principal of Vasavi Music College, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. She is also a B-grade AIR artiste.
