Can you name two brothers in history who were both brilliant painters? We can't either. But who knows, future generations just might be able to.
Chitramayee - State Gallery Of Fine Arts is organising an exhibition of paintings by Lester Paul, from the 11th to the 19th of October, at its gallery premises in Kavuri Hills. The exhibition is themed Wonder To Reality. Lester, along with his brother Glower Stanier, will be exhibiting about 38 paintings for public view. The paintings of the latter are about emotions, and those of the former are about his life as a child and memories from back then.
Lester Paul is a self-taught artist who's learnt the art by rigorous practice, and will be displaying a unique combination of craft and oil painting on canvas. He is the Head of the Arts Department at Chirec Public School, Jubilee Hills.
Glower Stanier is a Master in Fine Arts and a gold medalist from the Hyderabad Central University, and chose to display acrylic on canvas in this exhibition. He is currently an Arts Teacher at the Oakridge International School.
