Volume In Motion, a painting exhibition by D Hanamanth Rao, starts on the 12th of October, at the ICCR Art Gallery. The exhibition will be inaugurated by M Satyanarayana, Minister of Sports and Culture.
The name Volume In Motion comes from Hanamanth Rao's penchant for finishing a painting in one go. A self-taught artist, Hanumanth Rao has worked on figurative abstract, with acrylic and oil colors, for this exhibition. He uses the natural color of the canvas whenever he has to use white in this paintings.
This is his third solo painting exhibition in Hyderabad - he has done many group shows in Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. He has also held an Artist's Camp and a Sculpture Camp at Shilparamam.
