The A P Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, in association with the Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium, is organising an exhibition of traditional Andhra paintings, from 28th April to 31st May, at its showroom in Gunfoundry.
In view of the public demand for these traditional paintings, Lepakshi has opened a modern art gallery in the first floor of the showroom on 28th April, and is exhibiting a big treasure. There are acrylic and oil paintings on craft paper and canvas, portraying rural atmosphere and natural sceneries, and a large collection of Hindu gods and goddesses in bright colors, women, birds and Nirmal paintings. All the works have been attractively framed.
