The A P Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, in association with the Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium, is organising an exhibition of cotton fabrics, from 28th April to 31st May, at its Gunfoundry showroom. With the heat of the summer reaching unbelievable proportions, people prefer cool cotton fabrics, and Lepakshi knows.
The display contains about 30 stalls exhibiting and selling exclusive cotton wear, including Baltic print saris; Bengal cotton saris; dress material; khadi shirts and ladies' tops; and kurtas and bedsheets from Venkatagiri, Mangalagiri, Gadwal, Narayanavaram, Siddipet, Kalamkari, Narayanapet and Pochampalli in Andhra Pradesh, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, and Kolkata in West Bengal.
This is an exhibition in which the weavers and artisans will be selling their products directly to the customer, and so the items are reasonably priced, and further carry a special discount of 20%. Please contact Lepakshi at 2323-5028/2321-2902 for further details.
