Filmmaker Alain Corneau occupies a unique place in French cinema. By himself, he embodies the main genres of cinema: films noirs, detective stories, musicals, adventure films and comedies. For this reason, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs is screening 6 of his films through the Alliances Francaises in India. This festival is being jointly organized by the Alliance Francaise de Hyderabad and the Hyderabad Film Club.
A catastrophic run of bad luck begins the day Franck Poupart pushes open the door of a dilapidated house near the suburb of Creteil. And the door-to-door salesman in a rundown suburb becomes a thief and a murderer almost without knowing it.
