Ramoji Film City (RFC), owned by entrepreneur-cum-film-producer Ramoji Rao and built across 2,000 acres of land, is primarily let out for film shootings. Now a little additional revenue doesn't help when your original calculations go haywire, and so here's the City playing Bal Bhavan, the premium version.
The RFC is organizing a series of entertaining programs for children for 15-days, where school children up to standard X can take part paying an entry fee of Rs. 225 per head (per day, kid). The amount includes a free lunch, school pickup and drop.
Competitions will be held daily in mime, dance, mono action, skits, painting, music, poems and art quizzes. The children will be divided into 3 categories, and the first category will have students belonging to classes I to III. And for the categories 2 and 3, it's students of classes IV to VI and VII to X respectively. The winners of the daily competitions will be given prizes the same evening. Apart from students of Hyderabad, children belonging to the other metros of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will also take part.
To entertain the children, there will be stunt shows, thrill riders, mime, magic, sight-seeing, acrobats, juggling and film dances. Please contact Mohan at 925-46555, extn. 6874/6875 for further details.
