Here's another contest for who serves the food of love the best. This time it's the much-in-demand South Indian variety. Nada Bharathi, started by a consulting accountant, Srinivasa Gopalam, has been organizing musical programs twice every month, and has conducted almost 85-90 concerts as on date.
Srinivas, being an artist himself (vocalist and instrumentalist), has organized numerous music shows. The current music festival is being organized with a view to create a platform for young talent to get the much required concert familiarity and as a part of the celebrations of Sri Narasimha Jayanti, Sri Thyagaraja Jayanti and Sri Annamacharya Jayanti.
Nada Bharathi is a forum for young musicians and is dedicated to the cause of classical music and literary activities. The music festival will feature prominent and upcoming artistes of Carnatic music in Andhra Pradesh. The list of performing artists:
