REVIEW FOR SUMMER FUNK BEGINS!
Anything that makes a bunch of shy people of all ages, shapes and sizes, leap about in abandon and bring the house down with their grooves must be a good idea. Ace choreographer Shiamak Davar's dance classes seem to have done the trick. Hyderabad loves to boogie with this particular bunch of dancers and classes are on all year-round in the city.
The Institute is most popular for their annual extravaganza, called the Summer Funk Show. Like other workshops the basic style here is also jazz, but the difference is that at the end of the session, all the participants put up a public performance with professional sound, lighting etc. And students also get a certificate for taking part in the workshop. Summer Funk is the event most looked forward to by all students of the Institute.
The workshop will be held at several venues in the city and the schedule is as follows:
