Exhibition At Urvi

Empty vessels make more noise. So, what does that say about the half filled ones? Heck, how would we know. We're just writng this to give you an intro. Cool one, huh?

So, why all this talk about vessels? Because Urvi is exhibiting some of the Urli variety. Urli is traditional to Kerala. Urli vessels are made of brass or polished stone. Also available here are some authentic pieces of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Pondicherry. The prices range from Rs. 200 to Rs. 15,000.

Also featured at this exhibition is the designer wear of Kolkatta's top designer Sunita. Block prints on cotton dominate this range where the prices start from Rs. 850 and go up to Rs. 2,200.
