The Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad, in association with the Short Cuts and the French Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, is presenting Voyages En Courts, a journey into short films, at the Prasad Labs Preview Theatre, on 6th, 7th and 8th July. As part of its policy of promoting French cinema around the world, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has regularly programs of short film screenings, and Voyages En Courts is one of the initiatives.
A selection of 40 short French films will be screened during the 3-day screenings, divided into five segments: Films From The South: World Shorts; Young Audiences: Playground Shorts; The Feminine: The Elles; a selection from the 2006 Clermont Ferrand Festival; and The Weird And The Fantastic: The Strange Shorts.
Today, the last day, 7 short films under the category of the 2006 Clermont Ferrand Festival, namely Un Beau Matin, Les Volets, Du Soleil En Hiver, Carlitopolis, Chambre 616, Be Quiet and Les Petits Hommes Vieux; and 10 other films under the category of The Weird And The Fantastic: The Strange Shorts, namely Le Baiser, Personne n'est Parfait, Stricteternum, Le Couloir, Overtime, Kitchen, Ligne verte, Eclosion, Somewhere and The End, will be screened.
