In a land filled only with men, one half is gay and the other half has committed suicide! So to prevent these mass deaths, women must stay. And how do we go about doing that? By dedicating one day a year to make them feel special. That should do the trick!
This is where the International Women's Day comes in. In recognition of this day, The Little Theatre presents readings entitled ‘Science and Prejudice’ – a selection of brief life histories of a few women scientists and mathematicians, and their experiences. The collection is a small sampling of heroic, and sometimes tragic, stories of how brilliant women have tried to create a little space for themselves in the field of science, and what struggles they have had to endure.
