"We are all sheep, in search of a shepherd," said Led Zeppelin. There are few who recognize the shepherd. And those who do deserve recognition.
Master Universal Trust is celebrating the 13th Araadhana Jayanti of Acharya Ekkirala Bharadwaj. Acharya Bharadwaj was an ardent devotee of Sai Baba of Shirdi, and has written a number of books on him. The Trust holds some of his precious books in its library.
Bharadwaj was a lecturer in Viveka Vardhini College. He had an ordinary life that comprised his teaching assignments and daily pooja. The legend goes that one night Shirdi Sai Baba came in his dream and advised him to create awareness about him and his "Bhakti Marg". And since then, Bharadwaj took up the task of writing about Sai Baba and telling people about Baba's glory. Until his last day, he was totally immersed in his work of spreading the message. He died at the age of 51 years.
As part of the celebrations, Master Universal Trust is organizing Bhajans and Satsang (discourses) today. Please contact 764-1520 / 761-7792 for further details.
