You have doused your faces and hands in this earth, try it for a different purpose this week.
The Saptapanini Training Centre is organising a 5-day workshop on pottery. This workshop is open to those above the age of 8 years.
The participants of this camp will be trained at handmade pottery and also in using the potter's wheel. Apart from pots, the participants will also be taught to make bells, face masks, clay paintings and animal miniatures.
The pottery classes will be conducted by Jaya Prakash, who has worked at the Craftworks Department, JNTU. He currently runs a clay-crafts factory at Rajendra Nagar.
The admissions are on a first-come first-serve basis, as there are only 15 seats.
If you can not attend this pottery workshop 'cause of unavoidable circumstances, nothing to worry. This workshop will be conducted again in the 2nd week of the next month.
Well, so what if you can't become a potter in five days, but you can certainly try.
