The Anils of India are out to court the universe. And this one is using his camera for the wooing.

This photography exhibition is a collection of photographs of the artist Anil C S Rao. Anil was born in Hyderabad, India in the year 1964, and later immigrated to the United States. He was educated at the Washington School Of Photography.

This collection is a summary of the desires of the photographer, in the midst of a mid life crisis. The young models in his photographs reflect the eroticism of the nascent dreams and desires of Anil C S Rao's youth, when he was at the campus of the New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.

His photography is heavily influenced by the kitsch culture of the late 1960's of suburban NY city, and by the bohemain divas of Brooklyn and Massachusetts, where his father was training for an academic medical doctors' career.

This photography exhibition will be inagurated by the famous photographer and filmmaker B Narasing Rao.
