The Union Bank of India Cultural And Sports Association is celebrating its 22nd anniversary, with lots of cultural events for the families of its employees. The day's program will start with a Punjabi Bhangda dance choreographed by Rishi Raj and performed by Rajashekar, Narsing Rao, Prem Kumar, Bhaskar, Srinivas, Giridhar, B V Bala Krishna and Nagesh Kumar.
A Telugu playlet titled "Bank Of This Thing", written by K V Gnana Kumar, Manager, will follow. This is a humorous item about a forgetful bank manager in a rural bank who often loses memory of his employees' names and calls them in various other ways - Mr Balancing for Balbir Singh, Mr Seven Hills for Edukondalu etc. And instead of asking his clerks for specific things like the trial balance register or the balance sheet book, he asks for 'this thing and this thing'.
