We have seen them as action queens at hospitals. Now see them dancing on a different stage.

The Government College Of Nursing is celebrating its annual day at the Ravindra Bharathi, and guess who they have invited? YOU. The program is open for all.

This college has been established in the year 1959, the third nursing college to open in India. It was under the administrative control of the director of the Medical Education, and academically it was affiliated to the Osmania University. From the year 1986 it has been affiliated to the NTR University Of Health Sciences, Vijaywada.

This annual day will start with a welcome dance. This will be followed by a welcome address by Prof. A Rafath Razia. The other items on the agenda include the invocation ceremony; the presentation of the college report by Prof. A Gnanalakshmi; the release of the souvenir by the Vice Chancellor of the NTR University; speeches by the guests of honour; the prize distribution ceremony; a cultural programs; vote of thanks; and the rendition of the National Anthem.

The chief guest for the occasion is the Minister for Health, Panabaka Lakshmi. The guests of honour are Secretary To The Government, Health, Medical And Family Welfare Department, Dr. I V Subbha Rao; vice chancellor of the NTR University Of Health Sciences, Dr. R Sambasiva Rao; registrar of NTR University Of Health Sciences, Dr. P Jayakar Babu; and the Director Of Medical Education, Dr. Sai Gopal.
