Viji has done a good job of cleaning her closet - and showing daylight to those skeletons. Take a look at the outcome.

Viji Reddy is presenting an exhibition of her paintings on the 24th of this month, at the Shristi Art Gallery. Her exhibition is a compilation of paintings and cermaics done in various mediums. The exhibition will be previewed on the 24th of this month, and will be on veiw from the 25th. Her work can be seen for a week.

The theme of her collection is Freedom From The Know. Her painitings are a visual interpretation of the mind making a conscious effort to be aware of each passing thought. Her work observes the effort that is involved in the nuances of the mind, and its past conditioning.

Viji Reddy was educated in India, in Baroda and in Hyderabad. She graduated
with honours in painting and cereamics, from the City University of New York at Brooklyn College. She has also studied at the Art Students League, New York. Her paintings are a mix of acrylic and mixed media on canvas.

A viewer wishing to penetrate a world of self-realisation as percieved by Viji Reddy, will find her work rewarding. Her work is being curated by her fellow painter, Fawad Tam Kanath.
