Mushaira For The ETV Urdu Channel Launch is an event that took place on 15-Aug-2001 in Hyderabad.

It would be interesting to see how a 24-hour Urdu channel would shape up - we
mean, 24 hours of Urdu programming a day? And there isn't even filmi content here
to fill the hours with. If they're indeed planning a round-the-clock channel,
then this is one program that you shouldn't regret not getting invited to. They'll
probably have it on the channel more times than you'd care for.

The Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy is hosting a mushaira today, with leading
poets from all over the country taking part in it. This program is being organized
in association with Eenadu Television (ETV), which is launching its Urdu Channel
today.

Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu, Eenadu Group Chairman Ch Ramoji Rao, A P State Cultural Council Chairman Dr C Narayana Reddy and other dignitaries related to the Urdu field will participate in this Mushaira.
