It is easier to make good men out of kids than good men out of men, and here's Nachiket Tapovan taking the easy way out. And this Independence Day, it would have made more souls feel patriotic than many others - it's working with minds that are willing to feel patriotic, minds that aren't still flooded with a lot of disillusionment and indifference.
Nachiketa Tapovan, a cultural organization that often organizes music competitions, yoga and meditation classes, summer camps, and residential camps for school-going kids, teachers and managers of the corporate sector, had organized "Talent Search - 2001" in the month of July. To be exact, on the 15th of July they had organized a story writing competition, on the 22nd a painting competition, on the 27th a solo singing competition and on the 3rd a group singing competition.
The winners in all these competitions will be rewarded today, on the occasion of I-Day. Around 72 prizes will be given away to the winners in this function. This evening will also have some school children presenting poetic songs on some famous personalities like Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi.
