The Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad, in association with the Hyderabad Film Club and the French Embassy in India, is screening a French film, Mon Petit Doigt M'A Dit, at the Sarathi Studios in Ameerpet, on 15th April. The film is directed by Pascal Thomas, and has Catherine Frot and Andrey Dussollier playing the lead characters.
Prudence and Belisaire are what can be called an eccentric couple. It starts with the pretty impossible names - there must be no other Belisaire in France, and as for Prudence, there are few more imprudent ladies than she is. Then, Belisaire is both a Colonel in the military secret service, and a past master at ...ironing. And Prudence, not very inclined to be the model mother, prefers playing the amateur detective.
Unsurprisingly, when several pensioners of an old people's home start dying mysteriously, Prudence is only too happy to leave daughter, son-in-law and grandkids behind in her beautiful home to follow the trail of adventure.
