The Aaradhana Social And Cultural Organisation, in association with the Planographers Printers Company, is presenting a musical evening tonight at the Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha. The musical program will be preceeded by a felicitation ceremony. Six people who have contributed immensely to the society through their work in different fields will be awarded the life-time acheivement awards.
They will be awarded the life-time acheivement awards by the chief guest for the occassion, Minister For Youth Service, P Harish. The function will be presided by the MP for the Secunderabad division, Anjana Kumar Yadav.
Those to be honoured today are G Sulekha Murthy, from the field of music; Sri Rama Krishna, from the Railways Department; dramatist Ramu; lawyer Bhaktula Venkateshwara Rao; small screen actress Kinnera; and Marra Venkateshwara Rao from the cine field.
The music program that follows this ceremony will be performed by Sulekha Murthy and her band. She will be singing some movie hits.
