Deccan Chronicle is organising a lifestyle exhibition at the Hitex exhibition centre, from 17th to 21st May. The 5-day exhibition contains a large collection of home needs and interiors, like consumer goods, home appliances, furniture, FMCG products, luxurious home needs, fashion & garments, jewelry, bathroom fittings, kitchen accessories, arts and handicrafts, beauty & health, insurance & banking, fitness equipment and real estate.

The main attraction of the expo is furniture from Malaysia, as there is a lot of choice from the wide variety. Besides this, there is Bandini material in cotton-silk from Kutch in Gujarat, jewelry from Thailand, statues of the Masai tribe of Kenya, salwars and kurtas from Pakistan, consumer electronics and home appliances from Germany and India, handicrafts from Turkey and India, and fitness equipment from India.

Companies such as Sony, Philips, Videocon, Hitachi, Haier, LG, Godrej, Voltas, Samsung, Sansui, Whirlpool, Black Dekker, Faber, HCL, Hindustan Lever Limited, Procter & Gamble and Life Insurance Corporation Of India, and some real estate companies, are exhibiting a gamut of products - LCDs, plasmas, double-door refrigerators, ACs, handycams, digital cameras, mobile phones, desktop and laptop computers, iPods, microwave ovens, front loading washing machines, cosmetics, haircare products, kitchen chimneys, bath cubicles and bath tubs.
