ABC here means After Bowling Camaradarie, and IRS means Ignoring Readership for Sportsmanship. This month, a rivalry that is hot in the cool early mornings, turns cool in the hot late afternoons.
The Maheshwari Cultural Organisation, together with Avon Tubes and State Bank of Hyderabad, is organising the Print Media Cricket Tournament, at the RRC Grounds, behind Rail Nilayam, Mettuguda. The tournament will be held only during the weekends, from 5th and 27th May.
8 teams are participating in this tournament, divided into two groups. Group A has Hindi Milap, The Times Of India, Siasat and Eenadu, while Group B has Deccan Chronicle, Andhra Jyothi, The Hindu and Vaartha. The matches will be played in the league-and-knockout basis, and the top two teams from each group qualify for the semifinals knockout round, as per schedule given below:

The matches in league stages will be of 20 overs each side, the semifinals will be of 25 overs per side, and the finals of 30 overs.
