'Tis indeed the season to go nice and broke as the city levels yet another shopping festival your way. This one promises more opportunities to spend your money with food, entertainment and lots and lots of good deals on the shelves.
Consumer durables of all sort, from the latest in Sony's showroom to the niftiest appliances a homemaker could want, will feature at the Carnival. Primarily a lifestyle fair, the event is a great chance to compare prices across competitors - there will be more than 70 stalls participating. Handicrafts and accessories will feature too.
For the children there's a trampoline-country called the Bouncy Land and plenty of rounds on the go-kart. The Dept of Tourism also has some entertainment lined up for every evening of the Carnival, from folk dances to magic shows and from ghazals to light music.
And, of course, there will be plenty of food; stalls with Chinese and chat to Mughlai and Udipi. Looks like they've got it all covered, so head on to Hitex and see what your money can get you.
