The Jubilee Hills International Centre is organising the Inter-Clubs Veterans Tennis Tournament, from 12th to 15th December, at the club tennis courts in Jubilee Hills, near the Checkpost. About 100 players from various clubs are participating in this annual tournament sponsored by Radha Smelters.
There are six categories - under-35 singles, doubles gold and doubles platinum, 40+ years doubles platinum and doubles platinum, and 55+ years doubles - in which competitions will be held. The platinum category is for professional/better performance players, and the gold category is for amateurs/non-professionals.
Cash prizes worth Rs. 51,000, sponsored by Sunil Sharaf, the Managing Director of Radha Smelters, will be given to the finalists of all the six categories. The winner will be awarded Rs. 5,000 and the runners-up Rs. 3,500 for each category.
