The Billiards And Snooker Federation Of India, together with the Andhra Pradesh Billiards & Snookers Association, is organising the 74th Senior National Billiards And Snooker Championships, from 7th to 24th December, at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Indoor Stadium. This sports gala will feature more than 1,000 players from all over the country.
Organised simultaneously with the 32nd Junior Nationals, the 15th Ladies Nationals and the 3rd Sub-Junior Nationals, the event will see top-ranked players like Geet Sethi, Pankaj Advani, Rupesh Shah, Devendra Joshi, Yasin Merchant, Dharmendra Lilly, Ashok Shandilya and Manan Chandra in men, and Anuja Thakur and Chitra Magaimaraj in women, in action.
Andhra Pradesh will be spearheaded by Hyderabad's Lucky Vatnani, with Hemanth Kumar and S Shankar Rao of Guntur, and I V Raju of Kakinada in the senior category, Aashish Kumar and Himanshu Jain in the junior category, and Akanksha Singh and Esther Beulah in the women's section.
