The YMCA of Secunderabad is organising the Inter-Schools Open Table Tennis Championships from 22nd to 24th September, at the YMCA hall. The competitions will take place in 8 categories, namely Team Championship for boys and girls, Cadet Championship for boys and girls, Junior Championship for boys and girls, and Sub-Junior Championship for boys and girls.
About 20 schools are participating in this tournament, including St. Andrews, St. Ann's, St. Paul's, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pallavi Model School, Don Bosco and Hyderabad Public School. The tournament will be on a league-cum-knockout basis. Participation certificates will be awarded for all participants. The winners, runners-up and second runners-up get championship cups, and mementos, too.
