Nizami Food Festival

Once Upon A Time, the multi-cuisine restaurant of Hotel Green Park, is organising a Nizami Food Festival, from 21st to 30th September. Traditional dishes which were savored by the erstwhile Hyderabadi Nizams will be prepared by the inhouse chef of the restaurant during the 10-day festival.

The buffet costs Rs. 345 per head, and includes Galouti Kebabs, Seekh Kebabs, Paya Ka Shorba, Nahari Shorba, Haleem, Nizami Handi, Nargisi Kofta, Laal Maas, Hyderabadi Mutton/Chicken Biryani with salan, Yakhni Pulao,  Warqi Paratha, Murg Wajid Ali, Nizami Murg and Machli Begum Bahaar. For the desserts, there are the Khurbani Ka Meetha, Sheer Khorma, Shahi Tukda, Zauk-E-Shahi and Angoori Rabdi.

The festival aims at offering cuisine from the royal kitchens of the Nizams to the present generation of food lovers. The restaurant has created a special ambience that resembles the typical interiors of the royal dynasty, decked up as it is with swords and shields, spears, purdahs and the traditional hookahs, and with soothing live ghazals to add that finishing touch.
