The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is organising its Annual Open Swimming Championships at the GHMC Swimming Pool, S P Road, on 7th July. Competitions will be held in various categories and anyone (in the jurisdiction of GHMC) interested in participating in the championships can collect the entry forms at the venue. The last date for entries is 4th July.
The categories and events scheduled for the championships are as follows:
Under-10 boys - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
10-12 years boys - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
12-14 years boys - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
Men - 100m freestyle
Veterans (above 35 years) - 50m freestyle
Under-10 girls - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
10-12 years girls - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
12-14 years girls - 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
Women - 100m freestyle
The championships start at 8:30am. Prizes will be given to the top 3 swimmers in each category. Please contact Umesh at 94409-55888 for further details.
