For most outsiders, Goa means 2 things. We will not mention them here, but here's a richly deserved addition to that list.
Green Park is organising a food festival of Goan Cuisine at its restaurant Once Upon a Time, for 10 days. The food festival offers authentic Goan delicacies with an elaborate dinner buffet priced at Rs. 299 per head, inclusive of all taxes.
The buffet features delicacies such as Calde de Verde (a light soup with greenpeas and spinach), Caldo de Cabrito (lamb broth flavoured with celery and leek), Sannas, Galhina de Cafreal (pan fried chicken in a marinade of fresh coriander, green chilli and mint), Mutton Vindaloo, Chicken Xacuti, Formiyan de Verde (a melange of vegetables and tomato based mayonnaise served in tart shells), Croquettes de Galhina, Tamdi Bhaji (stir-fried red spinach with green chilli and coconut shaving), and many more.
Mouth-watering desserts such as Bebinca, Dodol, Bathica, Bol de Rolao, and others are present for the sweet-toothed. Special master chefs Terezhina and Ivo have been flown in from Goa to dish out this exotic cuisine, and to add further spice, local serenaders from Goa will play live music beside your table, from their selection of Goan, Portuguese, Konkani and famous Hindi numbers. Even the interiors of the restaurant have been decorated in typical Goan to create a lively atmosphere.
The buffet is available for dinner only, from 7:30pm till 11:00pm. Please contact 6651-5151 or 2375-7575 for further details.
