Ghantasala reinvented.
On the occassion of the completion of 60 years of Ghantasala's music in the Telugu music industry, the Department Of Culture, A P, in association with Gangadhar, is organising a musical evening for all the ardent fans of Ghantasala. This singing legend of the Telugu movie industry, made his debut 60 years ago on June 6th, 1945, and continues to survive today through his immortal music.
There will also be a felicitation program to honour his wife Mrs. Savitri Ghantasala, and his son Ratna Kumar. Following the felicitation ceremony there will be a musical program by Ghangadhar, who will be accompanied by the famous music directors, Raja Koti, R B Patnayak, Madhava Peddhi Suresh and Shashi Preetam.
The chief guest for the occasion is the Minister For Finance, Roshiah. The function will be presided over by Padmashree C Narayana Reddy. The special guests for the evening are veteran actor, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, and film diretor, S V Krishna Reddy.
