Give most young men a camera, and they tries to play God. Tej succeeds, too - he brings everything to life!
Chitramayee - State Gallery of Fine Arts is organising an exhibition of photographs by Meher Tej from 29th April to 5th May. A collection of 50 photographs is on display. Meher is a student of photography at the JNTU College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad. The displayed photographs have been clicked on various subjects from around the country, with a high resolution camera. Some of them are close-ups while some are distant snaps taken with the help of the zoom feature.
There are six snaps of a classical dancer, which show various poses of the dancer. There are also some breath-taking landscapes, and snaps of rural women and life. Then there are a few photographs taken around Delhi and Agra, with the reflection of the Taj Mahal, the Qutub Minar and Red Fort.
Some photographs taken in Rajasthan during sunset on the dazzling sand-dunes are amazing, as also are the colorful Marwari women in their ghoonghats and their folk dances. Finally, there are about ten portfolio snaps of young girls.
