The paintings of V A Nagendra Kumar are on display from 7th February at the Lakshana Art Gallery in Shanthi Nagar, Masab Tank. The figurative paintings themed as Artistic Expressions and numbering about 30, imaginatively done with oil paints on canvas, will be displayed at the exhibition.
Nagendra Kumar is a recipient of the Gem Of India award at the All India Achievers' Conference, New Delhi, for his artistic expressions, and is an acclaimed artist of contemporary Indian art. His ability to speak through colors on canvas on various theme-based creative concepts have made him popular, as evident from collections of his works by several institutes and individuals.
His participation in a number of exhibitions and art camps in New Delhi, and his study of the works of several international artists, have inspired him a lot and have resulted in his thought-provoking presentation of the multifaceted women in the current exhibition, which offers a visual feast to connoisseurs of art.
