REVIEW FOR EUPHORIA AT SANGAMAM
A college fest is an excuse for you to cut classes on the pretext of 'participating'. You start off at these events with a bundle of cash and a girl on your arm and at the end of it all are bereft of both. But what you are left with is a ton of stories to torture your children and grand children with. The Sangamam 2004 at MSVR Engineering College is exactly one of these.
It is your regular college fest except that it is grand. Let us say that again just so you understand completely: GRAND! It is a 3-day affair which will be inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor Subash Chandra. The Guest Of Honor will be Prof. Kishan Rao, the Head Of Archaeology Department at Osmania University.
Sangamam kicks off with the inaugural function, and the events lined up for the 1st day are:
1. Rangoli
2. Swar Jhari - a singing competition
3. Vaad Vivaad - the debate
4. Quizzards
5. Dheem Dana - theme & non-theme choreography
6. And DJ Anand to wrap up the day.
The 4th is another day filled with cultural and literary activities like:
1. Percussional & non-percussional instrumental renditions
2. Swar Maalika - Hindi antakshari
3. Dramatics
4. Mish Mash - a pot pourri of ideas
5. JAM
6. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na - floor crossing
The biggest attraction of the last day is a performance by Euphoria at 7PM followed by DJ Anand for the second time and the following:
1. Telugu Antakshari
2. Treasure Hunt
3. Mr. & Ms. Sangamam
4. Lexicon - What's The Good Word
5. Ad Campaign
