Meet him cooking at his very own Ghosla today. Okay, it's impossible to resist a dig involving the word Ghosla when you're talking about him. Just like his food.
On the occasion of Times Hyderabad Festival, free cooking classes are being organised by renowned chefs of the city, who will whip up Chinese, South-Indian, North-West Frontier, Italian and Hyderabadi cuisine, from 2nd to 6th April, at various premium eateries like Ahala, Firdaus and Golden Dragon of Taj Krishna, Kebab-E-Bahar of Taj Banjara, Dakshin of ITC Kakatiya, Mainland China and Touch.
Today, the penultimate day, the big man, Chef Pradeep Khosla, will weave his magic on our very own Hyderabadi cuisine. Pradeep Khosla is the executive chef of Taj Krishna and is a renowned chef of Hyderabad. He will conduct a live cooking session at the Firdaus restaurant in the presence of an audience, and will demonstrate how to make Mirchi-Ka-Salan, Bhagare Baigan, Paya and Double-Ka-Meetha. As Haleem and Hyderabadi biryani take a much longer time in preparation, the chef will just explain the cooking procedures orally.
Khosla will also take questions from the audience. The classes are free for everyone, but advance registration is compulsory. For registrations and further details, please contact 2335-1333 or 6527-7755.
