The best time to crow about how good a manager you are is in B-School - after that people actually care. Here, however, is an exception.
Bhavan's Vivekananda College is organising the state-level management meet, Medha 2007, on 4th & 5th April, at the campus in Sainikpuri. About 500 MBA students from various colleges of the city are expected to take part in various seminars, paper presentations and formal events. On both the days, a technical seminar will be organised in which the following experts will talk on various topics:
4th April

Karna Gopal, CEO, Confluence Consulting, on Opportunities For Youth

Paper Presentation
Participants are required to present their papers on the topic of Youth Empowerment, Opportunities & Challenges.
Business Quiz
In this team event, participants will be asked various questions on business management.
Young Manager
Participants are required to show their managerial skills.
Make Advertisement And Deal
A marketing game where the contestants will be given a product for which an advertisement has to be designed and the product sold.
Bhavan's Stock Exchange
This is a finance game where participants will be given an imaginary amount to trade on shares and securities. In the end, the participant with the maximum returns on the shares sold, wins.
Apprentice
A HR event which requires one to exhibit her skills at recruiting and managing manpower.
Treasure Hunt
An outdoor game, where participants are required to find something hidden in the campus, based on clues provided.
KBC
The campus version of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Dance Floor
Set the dance floor on fire, whether through Western or classical, solo or group.
Jungle Remix
Showcase the DJ in you. Remix any song, in any music or language.
Word Jumbling
Make words out of alphabets.
The chief guest for the opening day is M Gopalakrishna, IAS (retd.), Former Chairman, APPSC, and for the final day, it is Prof A Vidhyadhar, Dean, Faculty of Business Management, Osmania University.
