Twilight zone is when you have all the time for the world and it doesn't any for you, and that's what makes this really touching. Here's something for a group that doesn't take part in too many big decisions, and that means that the gesture is entirely from the heart.
The Heritage Hospital is organizing a "Golden Couple Contest" for couples who have been married over 50 years, and a "Made for Each Other Grandparent-Grandchild" contest. There are going to be a lot of question and answer rounds along with games rounds, which the organizers say will be entertaining and funny to watch.
The programs are being held at different venues on different dates. The schedule is as below:
16 Sep - 'Golden Couple Contest' at Taj Krishna, at 3.00pm.
23 Sep - 'Made for Each Other Grandparent-Grandchild Contest' at Geetanjali Primary School between 9.00am and 12.00noon (Juniors' session) and 2.00pm and 5.00pm (Seniors' session).
1 Oct - Prize distribution ceremony to the winners of the above competitions at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. This being 'The International Day Of Older Persons', the chief guest will address the gathering on the importance of this day. The program will end with an entertainment event presented by Imran Khan (choreographer) and his troupe.
