Wanting to say "Let The Music Begin!" in style must be on the 'to do' list of every restaurateur, but for these guys it appears to have become now or never. And so while the festival is in the afternoon, the concerts are at night. It could be argued that it might be part of a strategy to get you there twice for different reasons, but would you go for lunch and dinner to the same place?
Nimantran is a new multi-cuisine-restaurant-cum-bar that started in June 2001. After its first food festival called Roti Feast in mid-July, it is now hosting a Hyderabadi food festival for a 10-day period to suit the Hyderabadi taste. This will be an afternoon buffet, and ghazal singer Khan Ali Khan will perform daily at 7.00pm.
The variety of food items under offer are Nahari, Haleem, Dum-Ka-Murg, Tala Hua Goush, Mutton Shorba, Paya With Sheermal, Toasted Salad, Green Salad, Pepper Chicken, Gobi Muslam, Bagare Baingan, Mirchi Ka Salan, Dalcha, Mutton Biryani, Bagara Khana, Makkai Ki Roti and Tandoori Roti. Apart from the main menu, desserts like Shahi Tukda, Khurbani Ka Meeta and Kheer will also be served.
The buffet is priced at Rs. 175 per head (plus 8% sales tax), and includes a complimentary drink (beer/soft drink). Please contact 631-7460/631-2333/631-8371/72 for further details.
