Like you can understand, these things are done mostly in the mind, and are easier when you are young, and here's one combining the two.
ABN Amro Bank and Hema Pen Company are jointly organizing an event called "Conquer Golconda Fort" to spread awareness on conservation of natural resources, wildlife and the country's heritage among the children and the general public. About 100 school children will take part in this rally and cycle down the Golconda Fort from the NMDC Building, Masab Tank, starting at 8am today. The children will be provided with breakfast and water after reaching the fort. The distance is about 8km.
The children will have an orientation program about the fort, and will then climb the historic fort accompanied by a guide. After reaching the summit, there will be a quiz program at about 11.30am, and the topic will be Indian history. The children will be down by 1.30pm, and will be provided with lunch. After having lunch, they will cycle back to NMDC, via the Quli Qutub Shahi Tombs.
